How to Brew our Herbal Flock Tea

To make our Herbal Flock Tea for your backyard poultry (chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and other domestic poultry and waterfowl) just fill your designated pot with 10-12 cups of water depending on flock size and heat to boiling. Add roughly 5-7 teaspoons of our dried herb mixture to a glass container.

Pour the boiling water with caution over the herbs to completely cover them. Allow the steeping process to happen by letting the water and herbs soak for about ten to twenty minutes or so.  We recommend leaving it until the liquid has completely cooled for ease when handling.

If you wish, feel free to stir in a dash of raw honey for some great antibacterial health benefits to your entire flock! You can strain out the solids or just leave the herbs in. The ducks especially love fishing them out and enjoying.

Please Note: We prefer to remove the solid herbs from the tea after preparing for small chicks or ducklings. To avoid any chance of choking. We suggest you strain the tea for the little ones.

Serving Size Example: A 5 gallon waterer gets about 10-12 cups of water with 5-7 teaspoons of dried herbs. Finish filling the waterer with clean drinking water until topped off & serve!
