Natural Certified Essential Oils - 100% Pure

High quality Essential Oils are considered to be a form of alternative medicine that employ plant extracts to support health and well-being. Essential oils are aromatic, volatile liquids obtained from plant material through steam distillation and named after the plant from which they are derived. Essential oils obtained through chemical processes are not considered true and pure essential oils. True Essential oils are obtained through distillation via steam, water or mechanical methods such as cold pressing. Once the aromatic compounds have been extracted, they are combined with a carrier oil to create a product that is ready for use.

  • Dilution: When applying essential oils topically, always use a carrier oil. These are oils used to dilute essential oils. Most commonly used are, Coconut Oil, Almond oil, Avocado oil, Olive oil or Jojoba oil. Carrier oils help carry the oils into the skin for the best absorption. They assist in spreading the oil further and protecting the skin from possible irritation.

  • For first time use of any essential oil always perform a patch test prior to the full application. Safe practice is to place a drop of diluted essential oil to a small area of the skin such as the area behind the ear lobe or the inside skin of the elbow. Allow a full 24 hours for signs of an adverse reaction. Possible reactions include skin irritation, nausea, dizziness, headache or respiratory complaints.
  • Hot oils such as Cinnamon, Clove Bud and Oregano should be diluted to 0.5%, and should NOT be used on children under 10 years of age.

  • Essential oils are potent and powerful; a little goes a long way is a great rule of thumb. The more carrier oil added, the lower the risk for irritation and sensitization.
